Old-time Jam
OLD-TIME ACOUSTIC JAM
EVERY THURSDAY 7:00 - 10:00 PM
Every Thursday evening from 7-10 PM, join local and visiting musicians at the Jones House for an old-time jam session. Bring your banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin - or whatever old-time acoustic string instrument you have - and circle up in the parlor or gallery to play along with fellow musicians of all skill levels and backgrounds. Guests and visitors are welcome to observe and enjoy the music, but are asked to be respectful of the musicians. After catching up and choosing a key the music will begin, with the last call for tunes coming around 9:45.
The old-time jam is not held on holidays and may be cancelled on days of inclement weather. Please call the Jones House at 828-268-6280 if you have any questions.
