4th of July Celebration

TOWN OF BOONE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Saturday, July 4

Join the town for a full day of Independence Day festivities!

10:15 AM - Live Music from the Watauga Community Band — Listen to patriotic tunes along King Street, next to Mast General Store, until the start of the parade.

11 AM - Boone 4th of July Parade
Find a spot along King Street as festively decorated floats, performers, and marchers travel through Downtown Boone.
(Parking is free in downtown all day)

Noon - Town of Boone 1872 Award Ceremony
Stop by the Jones House lawn for the presentation of the 1872 Award, given to the Daughters of the American Revolution and Mollie Bolick of Homestead Recovery. Hang around for free lemonade, watermelon, and cake from Stick Boy.

Dusk - Boone Fireworks Display
Head over to Clawson-Burnley Park at the Boone Greenway to close out the day with a spectacular fireworks display, starting right at dusk.
(Parking available in lots along MLK Jr. Street and at ASU's State Farm Lot)
