During the month of December, visit the Mazie Jones Gallery for a new exhibit, featuring images from Digital Watauga’s collections.
“A Seat at Our Table” is a collaboration between graduate students in the ASU public history program and the Digital Watauga Project.
Boone’s Got Talent
Saturday, February 7 at the Appalachian Theatre
Come witness some of the best talent Boone has to offer. Singers, dancers, musicians, poets, magicians, comedians, and performers of all sorts will showcase their skills on the Doc Watson Stage at the Appalachian Theatre, in front of a live audience and a panel of judges.

Kids Jam with the Jones House
Appalachian State Fiddler’s Convention
Saturday, February 7 from 12:30-1:30
The Jones House will be hosting a Kids Jam as part of the Appalachian State Fiddler’s Convention, at the Plemmons Student Union. Kids ages 8-17 of all skill levels are invited to participate and play some favorite traditional old-time tunes.
