2025 SUMMER CONCERTS
The Town of Boone’s Summer Concerts at the Jones House kicks off in downtown Boone on Friday, June 6. The popular weekly concert series on the Jones House lawn runs weekly from June through August. Showcasing local and regional acts, the lineup features a variety of musical genres that will appeal to all types of music fans - bluegrass, oldtime, jazz, folk, songwriters, and more.
Blue Ridge Fiber Guild
In June, the Mazie Jones Gallery features the annual exhibition of the Blue Ridge Fiber Guild, displaying work from skilled fiber art enthusiasts from across Northwestern NC.
BOONERANG MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL
Artists with ties to the High Country will return to Boone this summer for the fourth annual Boonerang Music & Arts Festival on June 19-22.
Presented by the Town of Boone and supporting partners, the free event will feature performances and activities throughout the day at multiple downtown locations, including street stages on South and North Depot Streets and a stage at the Jones House.
DOC WATSON DAY
Celebrate Doc Watson with two days of music, honoring the late local legend.
On Friday, August 15 at 5pm, join us on the Jones House lawn for a free concert featuring some of Doc’s friends and those influenced by his legacy.
Then on Saturday, August 16, the Appalachian Theatre will host a ticketed show on the historic Doc Watson Stage, beginning at 7:30pm.
