Join Appalachian Mountain Brewery, We Can So You Can Foundation, and the Town of Boone as we celebrate the fourth annual Rail Jam!

Appalachian Mountain Brewery will host its fourth annual Daniel Boone Rail Jam, a unique ski and snowboard competition, on March 17, 2018 -ST. PATRICK'S DAY! We are excited to move the date to March, which will be better weather for spectators. 

We know what you are thinking: How can we make snow during a warmer month? This year, with the help of our sponsors, we are bringing in a semi-truck full of block ice and a unique high powered snow blowing machine that will shred the snow day of. This will guarantee snow for the event even if it's 70 degrees outside. We hope this event will turn into a fun way to celebrate winter but also the excitement of Spring that is right around the corner.

New this year:

*$4,000 in total cash prizes (plus tons of product prizes also)
*new ramp location down the center of amphitheater
*more rail options and wall ride/ quarter pipe finish
*Town of Boone St. Patrick’s Day parade before the event at 2pm
*larger VIP area with more food vendors

* Family friendly event open to all ages to compete and watch
* Categories include women's, intermediate, and advanced
* Competitor Registration/Check-In will begin at 4pm
* Warm ups at 5pm
* Competition begins at 6
* Helmets Required
* $10 entry fee for riders ($20 at the door)
* $5 entry fee for spectators ($10 at the door)

The Daniel Boone Amphitheatre is home to the oldest Revolutionary War drama in the country, “Horn in the West,” which has been an important part of Boone’s history since the 1950s. Appalachian Mountain Brewery is excited to unite its We Can So You Can nonprofit foundation with the Town of Boone and will dedicate proceeds from the event to support the revitalization of the Amphitheatre.
